The Science of Meditation

Science hasn’t been around for as many thousands of as Buddhism has, however man’s quest for greater meaning in life at been at the forefront of both. What has Buddhism provided for science? Conversely what has science given to Buddhism? Perhaps the model of science is set to be seen as more linear, logical, and rational associated with the left hemispheric view of life whereas spirituality can been seen more as an intuitive, creative, and spontaneous correlating to more greater interactions to the right hemispheric side. Where can both worlds exist and have inter-hemispheric resonance. Is the cortex the answer?
